Disney Fantasy returns to Falmouth as cruise continues its rebound

Disney Cruise Line’s flagship vessel, the Disney Fantasy, has made a much welcomed return to the historic cruise port of Falmouth, Jamaica as cruise tourism continues to rebound.

The dream class cruise vessel descended on the Georgian town on Thursday December 9th with over 1300 passengers and crew on board. This development is quite welcomed given that Disney Cruises are considered one of the top cruise lines coming into Jamaica.

A number of passengers disembarked the vessel where they went and engaged in various activities of leisure in keeping with the protocols established.

As cruise tourism continues to make a comeback, the port in Falmouth has certainly been making an impression as various cruise lines continue to drop anchor. On Sunday November 14, the Emerald Princess, arrived in port with about 1700 passengers and crew signalling what many believe to be the continued return to some level of normalcy in the local tourism sector. Another two ships made berth that same week with the arrival of the Aida Diva on Friday and the Celebrity Equinox on Sunday.
